“The College has been using the SMARTSQUARE system since 2018 and use it for when key events are facilitated within the Double Basketball Court / Hall Area.

Such events include College Mass, College Assembly, Religious Events – Confirmation Mass (Feeder Parishes), Social Events, Fundraising Events, Professional Development Days and Exams.

The SMARTSQUARE Floor Protection System provides protection to the playing surface of the Double Basketball Court whilst delivering an acoustic benefit to the Hall environment. Noise levels AND audible echo are discernibly reduced.

The SMARTSQUARE System provides an efficient & effective process to layout, clean & pack up carpet tiles. The SMARTCART Trolleys enable the carpet tiles to be wheeled to a suitable location where the products are to be laid upon the floor / cleaned / collected and returned to the SMARTCARTS. Manual Handling is minimized as the SMARTCARTS are in position at the point of collection of the carpet tiles. The SMARTCARTS cater to the efficient storage of the product.

If we did not use the SMARTSQUARE system then we would have much more wear and tear on the playing surface of the double basketball court and the overall acoustics would suffer greatly. Therefore, SMARTSQUARE is essential for using a gym or halls for non-sporting use.

The SMARTSQUARE System would benefit other schools for the myriad of reasons outlined previously.”
